Email verification

Using bstarMailer and in need to update your email list for sending campaigns? 

New List:

If you haven't created a list yet, send your list to us for verification. We'll check it and send you a clean version as a CSV file. You can then import this CSV file into bstarMailer.

Existing List:

1. If you already have a list with subscribers in bstarMailer, export it as a CSV file.
2. Send the exported CSV file to us for verification.
3. We'll return a new CSV file containing only the email addresses that failed verification.
4. In bstarMailer, go to the list of subscribers and click the "Bulk action from source" button.
5. Copy all the email addresses from the failed verification CSV file.
6. Paste the copied email addresses into the "From text" field in bstarMailer.
7. Choose the "Delete" action.

That's it! Your list will now be updated with only verified email addresses.

Feedback Loop Servers

Whenever a subscriber presses the Spam button, the email provider to which the subscriber belongs sends a notification regarding this event. To receive such notifications, it's necessary to subscribe to them through the email provider. You can find a list of email providers and their feedback loop subscription processes here.

Most email providers, however, also send notifications to one of these three addresses: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

For bstarMailer to effectively process these notifications, you must add feedback loop servers for each email address—either the one you subscribed to at the email provider or one of the three listed above.

It's important to note that when exclusively using delivery servers of the web API type, there's no need to set up feedback loop servers, as these notifications are automatically processed via webhooks.
